GREEN CLAY


For; Oily, Combination,

Acne-prone & Congested Skin


Also known as Illite Clay, Sea Clay or French Green Clay is found mainly in france. Green clay is amazing for exfoliation & pore-tightening and works to absorb excess oil on the skin. The green colour of this clay comes from the decomposed plant material and iron oxide which is a major factor in the quality of this clay. Green clays do not just draw oils & impurities, but also works to pull blood to the surface of the skin, boosting circulation. Green clay also helps to tone and firm the skin and also helps to clear blemishes.





RED CLAY


For ; Normal, Acne-prone, Oily & Problematic Skin

Red Clay has exceptional drawing abilities, making it especially good for oily and acne-prone skin. Rich in copper and iron-oxide this clay was traditionally used to treat joint pain and for washing to protect against disease. Anti-inflammatory properties help for inflammed skin and even gums! Red clay stimulates circulation of the blood at its tiniest vessels, helping tp promote healing and radiance.



PINK CLAY


For; All Skin types, Sensitive,

Dry skin & Problematic skin




Pink Clay is a mix of red and white clay. Combining these two makes this a perfect all-purpose clay for all skin types due to its mild levels of absorption.

This clay is great for sensitive skin, as it has a lower absorbing properties, resulting in less dryness. Pink clay helps dry & sensitive skin restore moisture, while drawing out impurities. For more oily and combination skins it stores balance, cleanses the skin and helps to clear out blackheads. It softens & hydrates the skin, while promoting cell regeneration to support increased radiance.



FULLERS EARTH CLAY

For: Normal; Oily; Clogged Pores & Hyperpigmentation

Fullers Earth Clay is derived from ancient volcanic ash sediments and is a powerful absorber of oils and impurities. It has mild bleaching prosperities which help with issues such as hyperpigmentation and acne scarring and combined with rose water it helps to boost circulation to the skin. It's texture also act as an exfoliator to help remove dead skin cell and promote rejuvenation. This clay due it is powerful absorption can be drying for delicate skin type so add a base oil for extra moisture (or stick to the pink clay!) This does however make it great at detoxifying and unclogging pores!

Clays are naturally found in the earth and provide us with a great source and basis for our skin care routines.


So which will you choose?

I have them all...lol



....but love the pink and green, maybe because they are the colours of the heart chakra!!!


But on days where my skin feels really clogged, up I opt for the Fullers Earth. :)
