But what I AM undoubtably is a NATURAL MYSTIC.......
This phrase, statement and title to me encapsulates everything of my spiritual experience so far! I have been given many labels by others over the course of my life, and I have explored and attempted to try on many in an attempt to 'fit in' and feel a sense of 'belonging'....
But they didn't....the labels... they didn't ever fit and I never felt quite a part of whatever they stood for...
Some of the labels others have placed on me have been an honour...
Just yesterday my soul sister told me believed that I am a Healer. I have been called this before, especially when people come to my home they all say that it is very calming and relaxing.
But I have been called other things, like ; Pagan, Witch, Obeah Woman, Medicine Woman, Oracle and the like. Some are said with love some with fear and accusation but either way they never seemed to equate to what I have seen, learned, experienced or practiced up until today....
People ask me when I became spiritual, when I had my awakening, when my third eye opened and I find this hard to explain....
I have always been what the conscious community call 'aware' or 'awake', I think we all are up until a certain point in our lives (7 years old in my own theory) until the world 'get in'!
I can remember being as young as 4 or 5 yrs maybe rushing downstairs as I did most morning to look out of my front room window which overlooked Wandle Park in Colliers Wood. One particular day I look up at a black an white sketch of and African Woman with a bald head and beaded necklaces going all the way up her neck, much like the Maasi Tribe of Kenya. Fast forward to present day she looked like part of the Wakandan Army..lol. But I instantly recognised her as my "fairy-godmother", and continued with whatever I was doing.
Ever since this day I have felt the presence of a Feminine energy with me...
As I grew in age and wisdom I realised that this was the Energy of the Great Mother...and I was one of her Priestesses!
